It is only 7 kilometres far from the centre of Milan and about 55 kilometres from the Hotel.
Other airports are Milan Malpensa and Milan Orio al Serio.
Milan Malpensa Airport is about 50 kilometers far from the centre of Milan and 90 kilometres from the Hotel. The Terminal 1 is dedicated to the scheduled flights and the Terminal 2 is dedicated to the charter flights. A free shuttle connecting the two terminals is available every 15 minutes for twenty-four hours a day.
Milan Orio al Serio Airport is located near Bergamo and is about 50 kilometres far from Milan and 105 kilometres from the Hotel. Please note that we do not run any minibus transfer service from and to this airport.

Public transport from/to Milan airports
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Grand Hotel Milano is located in Terme di Miradolo (south of Milan). Please see “Location” in our web section “Visitor Information” for further details.
The best ways to reach the hotel are by taxi or by our Minibus Transfer Service (please see above).
Travelling by bus and/or train is much complicated, and often impossible on Sundays. That’s why we highly suggest you to avoid these public means of transport and opt for a taxi or our Minibus transfer service.

First of all take BUS 73 at Linate Airport, arrivals floor:
Arrival to: Milan city centre, Piazza San Babila
Timetable: from 06.05 a.m. to 00.55 a.m. Every day, every 10 minutes

Tickets are available at bar, newspaper kiosks, and other authorised sales.
Then take the TUBE from San Babila (MM 1, Red line) to Duomo; here change tube (MM 3, Yellow line) and drop off at the last stop San Donato. Ticket cost: 1 euro.
Then take a Sila BUS (www.sila.it) from S. Donato to Terme di Miradolo (destination Monticelli). Tickets should be bought at the Sila kiosk at S. Donato tube station, otherwise a further charge is payable on the bus. The ticket costs about 5 euros.
Sila buses DO NOT OPERATE ON SUNDAYS, and so you should arrive 1 day before if you want to arrive on your own and take these buses:
