What to bring
A few suggestions of what you need to bring on your painting holiday so that you are better equipped.
We suggest you bring the following:
- Paints of your choice (tubes preferred)
- Brushes (no. 6, 10 and 16 recommended)
- Watercolour paper/pad (hard backed)
- Small sketch pad to do quick sketches when we go out on trips
- Pencils (HB and 2B recommended)
- Tape
- Masking tape
- Water container
- Small back-pack bag to carry your things
- Sunhat
- A camera
A TIP: to get the best results, you should use the best materials you can afford.
We provide the following:
- Small fold up stools
- Boards to rest on your knees when working in watercolour
- Boards to stretch water-colour paper
- Paper rags
Soon we’ll have a digital image printer available for all our clients, so that you can immediately print a set of photographs you have taken on the trips we take, and you can then use these to help for painting source material.
